INDUS Engineering Pass NICEIC Annual Assessment Visit
As part of our registration as an approved contractor for the NICEIC, each year INDUS Engineering are subjected to an assessment visit to confirm that all aspects of the work we undertake meet all of the current standards and regulations.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic this annual visit had been delayed from December 2020 to February 2021. It also took on a very different approach to the usual visits and started with a Zoom call, the new normal, to our assessor for the day Steve Kollberg. During this hour or so long call we presented all the paperwork associated with the day to day running of the business. This includes our proof of insurances, regulatory documents, calibration certificates for our test instruments and certificates from the work that we have been carrying out. Thankfully, there were no problems with the evidence we presented so it was off to see one of our industrial clients to meet Steve in person and carry out some of the routine tests that we perform when completing our work.
After carrying out all of the necessary checks Steve gave us a good report which allows us to continue to offer all of our clients the highest standards of work all backed up by the knowledge that we continue to be an approved contractor under the NICEIC.
