INDUS Engineering Approved Installer For Electric Vehicle Charging Points
With the government having now announced that the intention is to ban the sale of fossil fuel cars in 2030 we believed that it was time that we became an approved installer for electric vehicle charging points. To enable this all employees have now completed and successfully passed the NICEIC Electric Vehicle Charging Awareness course. We have also partnered with Romatech and have attended a virtual workshop to give us the necessary skills to be able to install the KEBA range of electric vehicle charge points.
The training and certification undertaken has allowed us to become approved under the Office for Zero Emissions Vehicles (OZEV) grant schemes. There are two schemes we are able to offer:
- Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme: Aimed at the homeowner choosing this option allows you to claim a grant from the OZEV for £350 towards the cost of purchasing and installing an electric vehicle charge point. We are able to guide you through the process from start to finish.
- Workplace Charging Scheme: Aimed at the commercial and industrial clients, this scheme allows you to apply for a voucher that is up to the value of £14,000. This equates to up to 40 charge points across any sites you may have. We can assist you through the process in applying for this scheme.
Even if you are for some reason not eligible for the above schemes, there are still some excellent investment opportunities associated with the installation of charge points, there are options for commercial clients to operate their charge points as a pay to use network for anyone to use and the pay back period for these schemes are very lucrative.
If you would like anymore information on any of the electric vehicle solutions, we can now offer please do not hesitate to contact us.
